I’ve been seeing Jalane for over 6 years now, and I’m thankful for it everyday. She has helped me throughout my adult life with my depression, anxiety, and ADHD. She has helped me grow as a person and has guided me in taking the necessary steps to be the best version of myself. I love how down to earth and genuine Jalane is; you can tell how much she truly cares. I’m forever grateful and appreciative to have her guidance and support!
Lizzy Ivey performed diagnostic testing on our daughter as she was preparing to end high school and decide what steps to take beyond. Our daughter immediately felt comfortable with Lizzy, and because of that, our daughter was able to show her true self, giving us accurate information to help with decision making. Our family entered this process nervous, afraid of the future, and completely unsure of what our daughter should do next. We left Lizzy’s office with a plan, complete, over the top support, and encouragement for the journey ahead. Lizzy not only recognized the strengths in our daughter, but she was knowledgeable about options and where her strengths could best shine, helping our daughter’s confidence as we all worked together to plan for her future. We could not recommend Lizzy enough—she was an answered prayer for our family. Thank you, Lizzy!!
From our very first session, Jalane made our whole family feel at ease. Her informal and approachable style—along with her silly sense of humor—immediately helped us relax, which made the process so much easier. She’s incredibly easy to talk to and has a unique ability to make everyone feel comfortable; after a few sessions, Jalane honestly felt like an extension of our family. I would recommend Jalane without hesitation to anyone looking for family counseling. You’d be hard pressed to find someone as special as she is.
Our son was struggling with impulsivity, poor emotional regulation, and social challenges tied to his neurodivergence diagnosis. His inability to cope with frustration was affecting our whole family‘s quality of life. Today, he’s not just managing better—he’s thriving. He’s more self-aware, better able to focus in school, and his emotional outbursts have significantly decreased. We’re deeply grateful for the compassionate, collaborative care he continues to receive.
After struggling with obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors for most of my adult life, I found Jalane who understood the complexity of OCD. Her treatment approach was both evidence-based and compassionate, and for the first time, I began to see real improvement. I now feel more empowered and far less controlled by my symptoms. Thank you, Jalane!
